Mark is a co-founder and Operating Partner of Silverhawk Capital Partners.

Previously, Mark served as Chairman of Texas Petrochemicals, Inc. (TXPI) (2004-2009), was a Director of American Italian Pasta Co. (AIPC) (1998-2010), and was Chairman and CEO of British Salt Holdings, LLC and its affiliate US Salt, LLC. From 2002-2004 he was Chairman and CEO of American Grinding Systems, LLC. From 1993 to 1997 he was President of North American Salt Company, a subsidiary of Compass Minerals, Inc. (CMP).

Mark earned his B.S in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Mark lives in Leawood, KS with his wife and three children.
